On behalf of our City Council and the Rosenberg Development Corporation, welcome to Rosenberg; a community founded 125 years ago when the Gulf, Colorado, and Santa Fe Railway chose this area as a railroad stop. Over the years, our location on main transportation routes – first rail, and then highway, led Rosenberg to be coined “The Hub of the Gulf Coast.”  Today we are still the Hub of the Gulf Coast as well as a great place to live thanks to our residents, businesses, and dedicated City employees who work in tandem to ensure Rosenberg is the best place to live, work, and play.
